Butch developed a love for music in the 50's starting with Rock & Roll and Rhythm & Blues. For the past 20 years, Butch has traveled to the Carolinas to dance and listen to the music, brought the music home to Florida, and suggested to the deejays that they play it at the proper speed for dancing.

He now plays everywhere he can, in and out of town. He plays for his home club, the Jacksonville Beach Bop Association as well as other clubs and events throughout the south. Butch is a member of the National Association of Rhythm & Blues Deejays and the Association of Beach & Shag Club Deejays. Butch and his wife, Betty, are members of the American Bop Association Hall of Fame.

This is Butch's first year to help out at the Mid-Ohio Boogie Bash and we are sure you will enjoy his music.

I’ve been fortunate to DJ for the “Michigan Dance Classic” for 13 years, The “Mid-USA Jack & Jill” for 9 years along with DJing at “Floorplay” in Florida, “Steel Boogie” in Pennsylvania and various other events in Michigan and Ohio.
